Montreal Impact boss Remi Garde: Ignacio Piatti out at least two more games

Ignacio Piatti (knee) will miss the Montreal Impact's next two games, head coach Remi Garde confirmed on Thursday.

The Impact face New York City FC away from home on Saturday (1 pm ET | MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US, TVAS in Canada), then have a midweek match at D.C. United next Tuesday (MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US, TVAS in Canada). Garde added that Piatti's status is up in the air for next weekend's home opener against Columbus Crew SC

Piatti missed the Impact's last game against Sporting Kansas City, which ended in a disastrous 7-1 defeat. The Argentine previously scored three goals over his first three matches this season.

Harry Novillo will start on the left wing for the Impact on Saturday against NYCFC, the attackers first start in MLS. He previously came on as a sub Orlando City SC on March 16 but was out of the squad last week after losing his passport.

Spanning both the regular season and the playoffs, the 34-year-old has 71 goals and 37 assists throughout his MLS career, having joined the Impact in 2014. The 2019 season will be his last in MLS
