Five-a-side: What's hot around MLS - version 3

New Chivas regular Atiba Harris battles for the ball in the preseason.

depending on when and where you saw him.

Harris, 23, used his speed at forward or his tough tackling and range as a defensive midfielder at various time in Salt Lake City. He's even played center back at the international level.

Harris moved West in the offseason, moving to Los Angeles, where he now wears the red and white stripes of Chivas USA.

For manager Preki he'll apparently play up front, perhaps right alongside Ante Razov. That's how it's looked so far in preseason, although Preki certainly has other options. Specifically, those other options are Alecko Eskandarian, whose preseason has been limited by injury, and Maykel Galindo.

Harris and Eskandarian were collected in the offseason to bolster Chivas USA's depth at striker; injuries to Razov and Galindo late last year extinguished any realistic championships hopes for an otherwise sturdy Chivas squad.
