Fire set foot in Southland with opening of Bridgeview satellite office

CHICAGO - In another move towards its relocation to the Chicago Southland, the Chicago Fire has announced that the club's new satellite office in the Village of Bridgeview is now open to the public. The Fire's Bridgeview office is located at 7773 S. Harlem Avenue inside the Bridgeview Court Shopping Center on the corner of Harlem Avenue and 79th Street, and can be reached via phone at 708-598-6666 or by fax at 708-598-8625.

"We are delighted to open up our new office in Bridgeview and have a physical presence in a community that is our new home," said Fire President/CEO John Guppy. "We welcome anyone from Bridgeview and the Southland to stop into our offices and meet the newest members of our front office team."

The Fire's Bridgeview office, which will be open from 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, will serve as the team's hub of activity in the Southland until the club's front office makes a permanent move to Bridgeview Stadium in 2006. The Fire has hired five staffers - Cristy Carbone, Corey Griest, Kerri Howells, Brad LaPaugh and Joe Smith - to man the Bridgeview location, where area fans and businesses will be able to acquire more information on club, including how to purchase tickets for next year's Inaugural Season at Bridgeview Stadium at the corner of 71st and Harlem.

The Bridgeview office will also have information for those wishing to seek employment opportunities at Bridgeview Stadium. Job seekers may drop off their professional resumes at the Bridgeview location in addition to picking up an official employment application.
