Fire announce MLS Primetime banner contest

Fire Fans, here is your opportunity to show your Chicago Fire spirit and win! Enter the Chicago Fire's MLS Primetime Banner Contest for your chance to take home a 42" Panasonic plasma screen TV and other exciting Chicago Fire prizes.


The contest will take place on May 17 when the "Men in Red" match up against Brimstone Cup rival FC Dallas at Toyota Park. The game will be aired live on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. CT. during the MLS Primetime broadcast.


This is your chance to show ESPN2 and the rest of the country why Fire Fans are the best in the league!


A panel of judges appointed by Chicago Fire Soccer will award Grand Prize, First Prize, and Second Prize to the three best banners based on adherence to the contest guidelines, creativity and appearance.


Here is what you could win:
• Grand Prize: 42" Panasonic Plasma TV, plus one MLS DirectKick TV Package


• First Prize: VIP Package for MLS Cup 2007 (four game tickets and four passes to an MLS Cup VIP event)


• Second Prize: A team autographed Chicago Fire jersey and four tickets to the Chicago Fire vs. L.A. Galaxy game on Oct. 21 at Toyota Park


Fans must register their banners at the Chicago Fire sales tent on the northeast concourse of Toyota Park on the day of the game between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m. CT. Only banners that are registered will be eligible to win. A photo will be taken of the banner and entrants will be asked to fill out a brief contact information form.


Banners should be larger than 3' x 2' but no larger than 10' x 10' and must reference "ESPN", "ESPN2", or "MLS Primetime" as well as the "Chicago Fire," "Fire," "Men in Red" or "Chicago."
