As much as we try to find carefully-crafted and clever words to explain what’s unfolding across Major League Soccer, sometimes it’s better if your eyes do all the work.

Consider FC Cincinnati’s jaw-dropping West End Stadium light display on Thursday night, as anticipation continues to build ahead of the soccer-specific stadium debuting with a May 16 game against Inter Miami CF.

Check it out below in its choreographed, cutting-edge glory as graphics fly across the stadium's fins. Simply beautiful, folks.

Heading into their third MLS season, FC Cincinnati are bidding farewell to their Nippert Stadium days in favor of a 26,000 capacity ground that’s privately funded at $250 million. Alongside soccer-specific stadiums at Austin FC (Q2 Stadium) and Columbus Crew SC (New Crew Stadium), it’s one of three venues opening across MLS in 2021.

The LED light display really emphasizes how West End Stadium will be a spectacle, too. For now, enjoy the video shown above and envision what it’ll look like when FC Cincinnati officially christen their new Queen City home.
