Wayne Rooney took an early shower in the Atlantic Cup.
The legend was sent off in the 24th minute after elbowing New York Red Bulls' Cristian Casseres Jr. on a corner kick. The collision appeared to be a coming together during the run of play, but following Video Review referee Ismael Elfath ruled it was enough for a red card upon further review.
The Red Bulls had already gotten off to a 1-0 lead at Audi Field before Rooney was ejected. It's Rooney's second red card of his MLS career, both this season.
