United, in conjunction with the Department of Veterans Affairs and Gatorade, announced details for the Second Annual Veterans Appreciation Day on Saturday, October 13 to honor all area Veterans who have answered the call in defense of our nation. Veterans Appreciation Day will showcase the Department of Veterans Affairs and several Veterans Service Organizations, and will be highlighted by a Decade of Veterans Salute and a performance by the U.S. Coast Guard Drill Team. Special guests include the Commandant of the Marine Corps and the Assistant Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs. </p>
