Crew's first exhibition game Saturday

The Crew play four preseason games in Bradenton, Fla. There first two matches are features against MLS clubs.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Crew continues preseason training in Bradenton, Fla., with two-a-day workouts and exhibition matches at the IMG Academies scheduled through Feb. 17. The club arrived on Saturday and a total of four exhibition matches are scheduled in Bradenton, the first on Saturday vs. the Kansas City Wizards at 10 a.m.


Upon returning from Florida, the team will spend a couple of days in Columbus before departing for California, where it will be from Feb. 21-27. Among its scheduled matches there are two against MLS foes, San Jose and Chivas USA, the later on Feb. 23 at the College of the Canyons to benefit the Michael Hoefflin Foundation.


After a brief stopover in Columbus, the club then travels across the Atlantic for a week-long stay in England from March 2-9, before taking its final preseason trip, to New Orleans, March 11-17.

U.S.-MEXICO VIEWING PARTY AT BUFFALO WILD WINGS SET FOR TONIGHT AT 9 P.M.
The Crew is hosting a viewing party tonight (Wednesday, Feb. 6) at Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar on Bethel Road (5240 Bethel Centre Mall) for the U.S. Men's National Team's international friendly against regional arch-rival Mexico in Houston. Game time is 9 p.m. (ET) and there will be Crew giveaways throughout the game.


CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES AS STAGE TAKES SHAPE AT CREW STADIUM
The new permanent stage being constructed in Crew Stadium's north end is taking shape. Work began on Sept. 10 and the project is scheduled to be completed on April 15. The stage will measure 60 feet deep by 120 feet wide.
