Kevin Molino - 2020 - close up

Kevin Molino has reportedly found a new home, with The Athletic reporting reigning MLS Cup champions Columbus Crew SC have signed the midfielder.

Molino is coming off a strong season with Minnesota United in 2020, where he was one of the top performers in a season that saw the team reach the MLS is Back Tournament semifinals and the Western Conference finals of the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs. In that time, Molino scored 13 goals in 22 games in all competitions in 2020 and finished as Minnesota's top goalscorer.

Per The Athletic, Molino will earn the maximum salary he can as a free agent in Columbus in 2021. He joins a roster full of attacking talent, including the likes of MLS Cup MVP Lucas Zelarayan. Molino would not be the first attacking pick up for the Crew this offseason, either — before the new year, the Crew confirmed the signing of Bradley Wright-Phillips as a free agent.
