Chivas USA travels to Utah for Class of '05 reunion with Real Salt Lake

Following a dramatic 1-1 draw with the Chicago Fire last Saturday at The Home Depot Center, Chivas USA (14-6-6, 48 pts), currently tied for first in MLS's Western Conference, seeks to regain sole possession of the West's No. 1 seed as it visits Real Salt Lake (5-13-9, 27 pts) at Rice-Eccles Stadium this Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7:00 p.m. MT / 6:00 p.m. PT (TV: DELAYED on FSN Prime Ticket, 11:00 p.m. PT; Radio: KTNQ 1020 AM; Pregame show starts @ 6:30 p.m. PT on KTNQ).

Chivas USA will train tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. PT at The Home Depot Center's Field 6, before departing Los Angeles International Airport at 1:00 p.m. PT en route to Salt Lake City. A full team itinerary is below.

For Saturday's match, Chivas USA Head Coach Preki will look to find the magic formula up top to compensate for the absence of Cuban forward Maykel Galindo (12 goals on the season), out to yellow-card accumulation. This is the third and final meeting of the Class of '05 expansion sides this season and the first in Utah, Chivas USA having won its two previous encounters with RSL at The Home Depot Center by scorelines of 4-0 (on April 21) and 1-0 (on Aug. 26).
