The Champions Cup resumed on August 4.
The new date for the final game has been estavlished as Saturday, Sept. 22, at 8:00 p.m. CT. The game will be played at Carl Lewis Track Field between the Houston Dynamo U-18's and Cachorros of La Unidad Soccer League.
The U18 Orange defeated the Houston Football Association's ASC New Stars 1-0 in one semifinal to advance to the championship game. The Dynamo were playing the game without leading scorer Samir Pena, who sat out the game due to a red card in the previous first round match.
The Dynamo U18 team will face Cachorros of La Unidad in the championship. Cachorros defeated Reboceros, from the Golden Triangle, 8-2.
