FC Cincinnati’s new West End Stadium is nearly 100 percent complete – 93 percent, to be exact – and on schedule to open this coming May, according to Dan Lolli, vice president of facilities and stadium general manager. Lolli was talking to media members during a tour of the soccer-specific ground on Thursday, which led to some stunning visuals of the project.

West End Stadium is being privately financed at $250 million and will seat 26,000 fans. For the last two years, FC Cincinnati have played at Nippert Stadium on the University of Cincinnati campus.

During the 2021 season, West End Stadium is one of three soccer-specific venues that's slated to open around MLS. The others are being constructed by Austin FC and Columbus Crew SC.
