Fortnite is integrating soccer into its game for 2021, and is including three MLS clubs in Atlanta United, LAFC, and the Seattle Sounders.
Beginning January 23, players of the hugely popular online game will be able to support their team by wearing an outfit in-game from the Kickoff Set, a collection of outfits inspired by different clubs' looks. The list includes 23 clubs across five continents, including three MLS clubs.
Additionally, the game partnered with Brazilian legend Pele for the Pele Cup, beginning January 20. The winner of the cup will get the chance to win a signed shirt and the Kickoff Set for free. The winner of the Pele Cup can also win the Air Punch Emote, inspired by Pele's trademark celebration, which will also be available to purchase on January 23.
Outside of the Pele Cup, players will also be able to create and play in their own soccer tournaments.
