TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Trade
Minnesota United have acquired Callum Montgomery in a trade that will see the Loons send a 2022 4th-round MLS SuperDraft Pick to FC Dallas in exchange for the the 23-year-old defender.
FC Dallas will also receive $50,000 in General Allocation Money if Montgomery reaches certain performance incentives.

Additionally, the club could receive up to $50,000 in General Allocation Money.
Montgomery was selected fourth overall by FC Dallas in the 2019 SuperDraft out of the University of North Carolina-Charlotte where he played from 2015-2018, scoring 11 goals in 73 appearances, and getting selected as a United Soccer Coaches’ First Team All-American and the Conference USA Defender of the Year in 2018.
He never made a first-team appearance for the club, making 22 appearances and scoring three goals while helping their USL League One affiliate North Texas SC to a league title in in 2019, before making nine appearances on loan in the USL Championship with San Antonio FC in 2020, scoring two goals.
