Good news, US men's national team and Chelsea fans: Christian Pulisic might return to action this weekend.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard confirmed in his Friday pre-match press conference that Pulisic would be in the Blues' matchday squad for when they host Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday:
It will be Pulisic's first appearance in the squad during the 2020-21 campaign. The 22-year-old has been out since he suffered a hamstring injury against Arsenal in last season's FA Cup final on Aug. 1.
Pulisic, who has 14 goals in 34 caps for the USMNT, enjoyed a strong debut season with Chelsea after making the move from Borussia Dortmund, picking up 11 goals and 10 assists across 34 games in all competitions. Chelsea are 1-1-1 through their first three Premier League games, though finished fourth last season.
