Orlando, now in their sixth MLS season, have Flavio Augusto da Silva as their majority owner and chairman. They’ve invested in Exploria Stadium, a soccer-specific venue that opened for the 2017 season, and they've brought in star Designated Players like Kaká and Nani.
The Lions are enjoying their best MLS season to date, having brought on head coach Oscar Pareja to lead the way reprising the partnership with Luiz Muzzi, EVP of Soccer Operations, which brought plenty of success in Dallas. Orlando advanced to the final of this summer’s MLS is Back Tournament and are currently in fourth place in the East, just four points out of first place.
