The MLS Disciplinary Committee fined Houston Dynamo forward Alberth Elis after finding him guilty of simulation/embellishment in the 33rd minute of the Houston Dynamo's MLS is Back Tournament match against Portland Timbers on July 18.

The MLS Disciplinary Committee similarly fined New York City FC defender Alexander Callens who was also found guilty of simulation/embellishment in the 19th minute of NYCFC's match against Inter Miami CF on July 20.
Additionally, the yellow card issued to Inter Miami CF forward Juan Agudelo as a result of the incident will be absolved from his yellow card accumulation total and any disciplinary points from Inter Miami CF’s total will also be dismissed.
