A total of 15 teams are already through to the Knockout Stage — with the last one set to qualify by the close of the group stage on Thursday night — and 10 of the qualifiers already know what day and time they will be playing.
Among the teams that will complete the field for the Round of 16 will be the top four 3rd-place teams. Real Salt Lake and the Montreal Impact are two of those four and already know who they will be facing. Vancouver Whitecaps FC have also qualified and will either face Toronto FC or Sporting Kansas City.
The last spot in the field will come down to the Houston Dynamo, LA Galaxy or New York City FC.
Houston will qualify with:

LA Galaxy will qualify with:
- A win by at least three goals vs. Houston
NYCFC will qualify with:
- HOU-LA draw
- LA win by less than three goals
