Diego Rossi, LAFC enter the record books after 6-2 win over LA Galaxy in El Trafico

It was another El Trafico to forget for the LA Galaxy and a banner night for LAFC in the Black & Gold's 6-2 rout over their Southern California counterparts on Saturday, and a match that ended with historical milestones for both sides.

For the Galaxy, they all fall into the dubious category after another difficult night on the defensive side of the ball for a team that has had too many of them dating back to last season.

On the other side, LAFC continues to look like an attacking juggernaut through two games, racking up nine goals in group play thus far between Saturday's explosive performance and their 3-3 draw against the Houston Dynamo on July 13. Forward Diego Rossi etched his name in the history books with his four-goal outburst against the Galaxy, while veteran forward Bradley Wright-Phillips appears resurgent as the club plays without superstar Carlos Vela, netting in each of the first two matches.
