MLS Idle: Soccer's Hidden Talents debuts Thursday

We already know about Major League Soccer playersā€™ talents on the field, whether itā€™s a diving save by Bill Hamid, a pinpoint accurate pass by Kaku, Ilsinhoā€™s magic on the ball or a long-distance curling effort by Carlos Vela.

But what about off the field?

MLS players now have the chance to showcase their non-soccer skills in the new MLSsoccer.com weekly show ā€œMLS Idle: Soccerā€™s Hidden Talentsā€.

Susannah Collins, Charlie Davies and a special weekly guest will reveal and judge the hidden talents of MLS players and fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite performances and select each episodeā€™s winner.

The show premiered Thursday night at 7:30 pm ET on Major League Soccerā€™s Twitter and Facebook

In the inaugural episode, Rolf Feltscher of the LA Galaxy, NYCFCā€™sRonald Matarrita, Inter Miami CFā€™sLee Nguyen and Keegan Rosenberry of the Colorado Rapids competed against each other with Rob Stone of FOX Sports joining as the special guest.

Fans vote by posting #MLS Idle and their favorite performerā€™s last name on Twitter or Facebook during the show and up to Sunday at 11:59 pm ET. So watch the show above and get voting.

As a part of ā€œMLS Idle: Soccerā€™s Hidden Talents,ā€ MLS WORKS will make a $1,000 donation in honor of each weekly winner to a local charity designated by his club once the bracketed competition begins in Week 3.

There will be 13 episodes, which will run through mid-July, and a 32-player bracket consisting of 26 club-nominated seeds and six wild cards selected from the first two episodes.
