Former FC Dallas defender and Homegrown Player signing Chris Richards has contributed for Bayern Munich's reserve side this past European season and is now drawing attention from Chelsea and Arsenal, according to German outlet Bild.
Richards started 22 matches for Munich II this past season in Germany's 3. Liga, scoring two goals. He was also consistently in training with the Munich first-team, where another MLS alum, Vancouver Whitecaps product Alphonso Davies, has established himself as one of the Bundesliga's left backs.
He has also appeared for the first team in a friendly, but not in a competitive match.
Richards is under contract with Bayern until 2023, according to BIld, which speculated should he stay with Munich he could be nearing a move up to the first-team roster.
