Break up the Loons! Minnesota United have been the story of the first two weeks of the MLS season with a pair of convincing wins. Can they make it three? The New York Red Bulls are hoping to spoil the Allianz Field party Sunday in the Week 3 finale.

Minnesota United (2-0-0) followed an impressive season-opening 3-1 win in Portland with a 5-2 romp of the host San Jose Earthquakes. Ike Opara struck for a brace, Jan Gregus, Luis Amarilla and Robin Lod added a goal apiece as the Loons led 4-1 at the half and cruised from there.

The Red Bulls (1-0-1) were moments from their first-ever regular season win at Rio Tinto Stadium, but were forced to settle for one point after Damir Kreilach leveled in second-half stoppage time. Cristian Casseres put the visitors in front in the 13th minute. Kyle Duncan and Sean Davis had goal-line clearances, but the win escaped the Red Bulls at the death.
