TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
Inter Miami have returned to make a new offer offer for Club America's Roger Martinez but have again been rebuffed by the player's agent, according to a report from Mexican outlet Record published on Tuesday.
Both Club America and Villareal, who would receive 60 percent and 40 percent of the transfer fee, respectively, are willing to sell the 25-year-old Colombian international, Record indicates. However Fernando Beto Lopez, Martinez's representative, is apparently still not satisfied with the compensation he would receive from such a deal.
The same dynamic was reported two weeks earlier after Miami was initially thought to have agreed to a deal for Martinez, who is in his second year at Club America after failing to stick at Villarreal in La Liga.
Martinez has eight goals and seven assists in 42 Liga MX appearances. He's been capped 18 times by Colombia.
