For the 25th MLS season, FC Dallas will be celebrating the club’s history with their new “Legacy EQT” home jersey.
The new shirt evokes the popular hoop theme of years past with the combination of the club’s red and blue primary colors. The silver nine-star “Founding Club” mark is also a nod to FCD’s charter-member status.
Here’s what won’t be changing in 2020: The Texas state flag is showcased on the back neckline and the “LH” patch now positioned on the front of the jersey to remember late owner Lamar Hunt, whose statue is scarfed before every home match outside Toyota Stadium.
The statue will be scarfed again on Saturday, February 29 when FC Dallas host the Philadelphia Union to kick off their 2020 MLS season (6 pm ET).
