Orlando City SC’s week-plus in Cancun, Mexico, has come to a close with a 2-0 win Tuesday over La Playa del Carmen, a Liga Premier (third tier) club.
Nani and Dom Dwyer both scored for the Lions, who are in the midst of their first preseason with head coach Oscar Pareja. Lineups were made not made available for either side.
So far this preseason, Orlando City have secured a 3-0 win over Stetson University and had their Feb. 1 match against Columbus Crew SCcanceled, with their MLS foe citing the field conditions and weather.
Orlando City will spend the rest of their preseason in Florida, with another five matches scheduled before their Feb. 29 home opener against Real Salt Lake.
