There’s no shortage of opinions on Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez’s potential move to the LA Galaxy, a reported possible transfer from Sevilla that has social media abuzz.


What would it mean for the Mexican superstar to land in MLS?


CBS Sports soccer analyst Thomas Rongen said the move would be “bigger than Zlatan,” referring to Ibrahimovic’s move two years ago, because of Los Angeles’ large Mexican population.


Sports Illustrated’s Grant Wahl said its ideal time for Chicharito to come to MLS, saying it would add spice to El Trafico showdowns with LAFC, starring El Tri teammate Carlos Vela.
