Alphonso Davies started in Bayern Munich's midweek Bundesliga clash at Freiburg, and got the visitors off to a great start by setting up the game's opening goal.
Davies started the game at left back, and used his blazing speed to help initiate, continue and finish a lethal counterattack, setting up Robert Lewandowski's 16th-minute goal.

The game ended in a dramatic 3-1 win for Bayern, after substitute Joshua Zirkzee scored a stoppage-time winner, with Davies going the distance for Bayern. The former Vancouver Whitecaps FC phenom has made 12 appearances for FC Bayern this season, notching a goal and two assists. Wednesday's victory takes Bayern to third place in the Bundesliga, four points behind leaders RB Leipzig and Borussia Monchengladbach.
