The Seattle Sounders are heading to 2019 MLS Cup after defeating No. 1 seeds LAFC in the Western Conference Final.

The Sounders advance to their third MLS Cup final in club history where they will face the winner of the Eastern Conference Final that will be played on Wednesday: Seattle will either travel to face Atlanta United or they will host Toronto FC for the league title on Sunday, November 10 (3 pm ET on ABC, Univision, TUDN, TSN, TVAS).

The No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, the Seattle Sounders knocked off FC Dallas (4-3, Round One) and Real Salt Lake (2-0, West Semis) before defeating LAFC 3-1 at Banc of California Stadium to reach their third MLS Cup final in four seasons. They dealt LAFC only their second home loss in 2019.

Seattle made MLS Cup in back-to-back seasons in 2016 and 2017, facing Toronto FC at BMO Field on both occasions. They won on penalty kicks in their first trip in 2016:
