On top of the Supporters' Shield they clinched and the Concacaf Champions League they locked up, LAFC set a few more team records, taking the lead of their captain, Carlos Vela, who smashed the single-season goals record with 34 goals after his hat trick.

In pursuit of one of the league's loftiest records, LAFC matched the 1998 LA Galaxy in goals scored. The Galaxy scored 85 goals over just 32 matches (!) that season, a mark that hasn't come close to being broken. But LAFC were able to match it with their three goals on Decision Day.
