The Seattle Sounders and Minnesota United meet with second place in the Western Conference on the line in this Decision Day presented by AT&T clash at CenturyLink Field. The teams are level on 53 points, with the Loons owning the goal differential tiebreaker.

The Sounders (15-10-8) are coming off a dramatic 1-0 win over the San Jose Earthquakes at Avaya Stadium Sunday. With both sides reduced to 10 men after second-half red cards, Jordan Morris broke a scoreless deadlock with a breakaway finish in second-half stoppage time.

The Loons (15-10-8) extended an unbeaten streak to four matches with a 1-1 draw against Supporters' Shield winners LAFC Sunday at Allianz Field. Minnesota United have taken four points from LAFC this season thanks to a Michael Boxall headed equalizer in the 75th minute, five minutes after Carlos Vela's 31st goal of the season.

In the first meeting this season May 4 at Allianz Field, the teams played to a 1-1 draw as Cristian Roldan leveled following Ike Opara's opening goal in a scintillating stalemate.
