D.C. United are set to add a new Homegrown player for 2020, according to a new report.

The Washington Post's Steven Goff reported on Thursday D.C. United have agreed to a deal in principle with midfielder Moses Nyeman. The 15-year-old has been a standout for the club's academy and has already gotten his feet wet playing alongside pros, playing on an amateur deal this season for D.C.'s USL Championship team, Loudoun United FC.

Called up to the U-16 US national team for an ID camp this week, Nyeman has featured as a central midfielder.

While Nyeman would not be eligible until 2020 to play for the first team, D.C. United have a huge clash Sunday at Audi Field against the Seattle Sounders (8 pm ET | MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US, DAZN in Canada), as they look to wrap up an Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs spot.
