STREAMING: MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US, on DAZN in Canada
Still alive, albeit barely, for the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs, nothing but three points will be acceptable for either the Houston Dynamo or Orlando City SC when the sides meet Saturday night at BBVA Stadium.
The Dynamo (10-16-4) are nine points below the line in the West with four games to play following a devastating 2-1 defeat to the Vancouver Whitecaps Saturday night at BC Place. Mauro Manotas leveled for Houston in the 78th minute to cancel out Inbeom Hwang's opening strike, but Fredy Montero scored the 90th-minute winner for the already-eliminated Whitecaps.
The Lions (9-13-9) are four points below the line in the East with three games to play after rallying from a two-goal halftime deficit to earn a 3-3 draw against the New England Revolution at Exploria Stadium Saturday night. In the 22nd minute Nani erased a Tesho Akindele own goal, but Cristian Penilla and Gustavo Bou scored six minutes apart to put the Revs in front 3-1 at the break. Dom Dwyer scored two minutes into the second half and Nani netted his second goal to level. It was the Lions' second straight home draw.
