The goals weren't flying in for Canada in their second Concacaf Nations League match vs. Cuba quite as fast and furious as in their first, last week's 6-0 rout at BMO Field, but Alphonso Davies made sure to add one to the highlight reel just the same.

The Vancouver Whitecaps product lashed home a blistering first-time strike to open the scoring on Tuesday as the Canadians met Los Leones del Caribe at Truman Bodden Sports Complex in the Cayman Islands, a venue change necessitated by improvements underway at Estadio Pedro Marrero, the Cubans' usual home:

It's the fifth senior international goal for Davies, now at German giants Bayern Munich, and put Les Rouges on the road to another CNL victory as they aim to surge up the FIFA and Concacaf rankings ahead of the start of 2022 World Cup qualifying.
