Orlando City SC (9-11-6) are eighth in the Eastern Conference, level on points with seventh-place Montreal following a 1-0 win over Sporting Kansas City Wednesday night at Exploria Stadium. Tesho Akindele scored the lone goal in the 21st minute, his ninth of the season as the Lions extended an unbeaten streak to three games.
