Orlando City SC vs. FC Dallas | 2019 MLS Match Preview

2019 MLS Regular Season Week 22
Orlando City SC vs. FC Dallas
Exploria Stadium - Orlando
August 3 - 7:30 PM ET

Orlando has been in party mode as the site of MLS All-Star Game presented by Target and Orlando City SC are hoping to keep that party going Saturday night when they host FC Dallas at Exploria Stadium.

Orlando City SC (7-11-5) are hoping to erase a three-match winless streak and consecutive losses after a 4-1 defeat to the red-hot New England Revolution last Saturday at Gillette Stadium. The Lions conceded early in each half on goals by Gustavo Bou and Cristian Penilla and their deficit soon became four when Carles Gil and Diego Fagundez scored 15 minutes apart. Tesho Akindele netted a cosmetic goal in the 77th minute.

FC Dallas (9-8-6) recorded a second consecutive shutout and third in their last four games with a 0-0 draw against Western Conference foe Real Salt Lake Saturday at Toyota Stadium. Jesse Gonzalez recorded five saves, including two of the highlight-reel variety, to earn the clean sheet.
