With just two points separating them above the playoff line, FC Dallas and Real Salt Lake square off in a six-point Western Conference clash at Toyota Stadium Saturday night.

FC Dallas (9-8-5) are in sixth place with 32 points following a 2-0 win on the road against Sporting Kansas City Saturday. Dominique Badji capitalized on the first of two Sporting defensive miscues to put the visitors in front in the 37th minute. Jesus Ferreira doubled FC Dallas' lead in the 57th minute with his sixth goal of the season.

Real Salt Lake (9-9-3) rallied to earn a 1-1 draw at home against Minnesota United and have lost just once in their last six games. Marcelo Silva canceled out Darwin Quintero's opening strike with a 70th-minute equalizer.

This is the second meeting this season with the FC Dallas winning 4-2 at Rio Tinto Stadium March 30 with Paxton Pomykal scoring a brace against a RSL side reduced to 10 men when Damir Kreilach was shown a straight red card for a head butt on Carlos Gruezo in the 17th minute.
