For the second time in five days, the Philadelphia Union and Orlando City SC square off, with the scene shifting to Talen Energy Stadium in Chester. The game will take place on Sunday after the originally scheduled fixture on Saturday was postponed due to inclement weather in the vicinity of the stadium.

On Wednesday, the Union (10-5-5) defeated Orlando City SC (6-9-3), 3-1, at Exploria Stadium to extend their lead atop the Eastern Conference to four points over idle D.C. United. Chris Mueller opened the scoring for the Lions in the 8th minute before Kacper Przybylko leveled just past the half hour mark. He added a second goal two minutes into the second half and Fafa Picault added an insurance tally in the 52nd minute.

The Lions finished the match with nine men after defender Robin Jansson was sent off on a straight red card following Video Review just before halftime and Sacha Kljestan was sent off for a harsh challenge on Jamiro Monteiro in the 67th minute.
