A rivalry is renewed Saturday night in Chester, Pa., when the Philadelphia Union host the surging New York Red Bulls in a battle of two of the top Eastern Conference teams.

The Union (8-4-4) became the first team to earn all three points at Allianz Field when they held on to defeat Minnesota United, 3-2, on Sunday. Jamiro Monteiro and Haris Medunjanin gave Philadelphia a pair of leads, but Hassani Dotson and Kevin Molino leveled for the Loons. With the game seemingly destined for a draw, central defender Auston Trusty came up with the dramatic winner four minutes from full time for the Union.

The Red Bulls (7-5-3) have put their struggled in the rearview mirror, thrashing Real Salt Lake, 4-0, at Red Bull Arena Saturday night for their fourth win in five undefeated games. A Marcelo Silva own goal opened the floodgates for New York, which have lost just once in the last eight games. Goals by Danny Royer, Michael Amir Murillo and Omir Fernandez followed in the rout.
