Could Serie A and Ghanian national team midfielder Afriyie Acquah trade Italy for the United States and MLS this summer?
According to ProSoccerUSA's Julian Cardillo, Acquah is interested in joining MLS, while one unnamed club has already lodged an offer.
Acquah, 28, has made 26 appearances for Empoli in his first season with the club. Well traveled in Italy, he previously played for Torino, Parma, Palermo and Sampdoria, making a total of 191 Serie A appearances since his debut in 2010/11.
Internationally, Acquah has made 31 appearances for the Ghanaian national team.
