TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Waived
The Chicago Fire waived fullback/wingback Nicolas Hasler on Thursday night, a move that clears an international roster spot for new acquisition Nicolas Gaitan.
A Liechtenstein international, Hasler joined the Fire last summer in a trade from Toronto FC and made 13 appearances (nine starts) in league play, including three this season.
He joined TFC from FC Vaduz in the summer of 2017, contributing three goals and an assist that season as the Reds won an historic treble.
