Already with an attack featuring the likes of Nacho Piatti, Maxi Urruti and Orji Okwonkwo, the Montreal Impact reportedly may splash the cash for another striker.
According to Globo Esporte, the Impact are interested in signing Colombian international striker Miguel Borja, who currently plays for Brazilian side Palmeiras.
Borja, 26, has scored three goals in 10 appearances for Colombia. He moved to Palmeiras in 2017 on a transfer fee in excess of $10 million, where he has 18 goals in 61 games. He featured briefly in Serie A with Livorno for eight appearances in 2013/14.
The striker played for Colombian side Atletico National before Palmeiras, where he had 11 goals in 16 appearances. Borja has won a Brazilian league title, the Copa Sudamericana and Copa Libertadores during his career.
