TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signing
Toronto FC have signed midfielder Richie Laryea, the club announced Thursday. Laryea was selected No. 7 overall in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by Orlando City SC.
Laryea, 24, was on trial with the club this winter. He made 21 appearances (3 starts) for Orlando between 2017-18, adding an assist.
The midfielder played two seasons at Akron, where he had 12 goals in 45 appearances. He also has been capped by the Candian youth national team.
