Greg Garza gets rousing ovation on return to Atlanta with FC Cincinnati

Greg Garza was a key cog in Atlanta United's run to the 2018 MLS Cup title, providing a lively, skillful two-way presence at left back and left wingback that saw him start all five of the Five Stripes' postseason matches. 

He was in the house at Mercedes-Benz Stadium again on Sunday as ATLUTD unfurled their championship banner in front of another packed crowd — but this time he was in the opposition's colors, having been traded to expansion side FC Cincinnati over the winter. 

After missing most of the preseason and Week 1 with a quadricep injury, Garza was cleared for a spot on FCC's gameday roster on Sunday and came off the bench in the second half to make his Cincy debut. And the MBS faithful made sure to show their appreciation for the US international:
