After coming up short last week, the San Jose Earthquakes return to Avaya Stadium on Saturday when hosting Minnesota United FC in search of their first win of the Matias Almeyda era.

In Week 1, the Quakes fell to the Montreal Impact, 2-1, at home. Meanwhile the Loons were victorious, 3-2, at Vancouver Whitecaps FC with Francisco Calvo and Darwin Quintero leading the charge.

Last year, San Jose twice scored three times in a pair of wins over Minnesota. Chris Wondolowski scored a penalty kick in a 3-1 win last May. Another goal from the Quakes' captain ties him for the league's all-time lead with Landon Donovan.
