After a stint in Marbella, Spain, the New England Revolution open the next phase of their preseason preparations with a Florida camp featuring five games and plenty of training-ground work. They'll face MLS opposition in the Orlando City Invitational, but first, a meeting with the defending USL Championship winners.

New England Revolution

The Revs took the first steps towards the 2019 season in relative isolation from their MLS peers, facing off against a range of international opponents in Marbella with largely promising signs for Brad Friedel's second year in charge. Now they're eager to move past fitness work and focus on tactical details.

In the coming days they'll also face Minnesota United, Orlando City, new USL side Greenville Triumph and Icelandic outfit KR Reykjavík.

Louisville City FC

One of the more ambitious clubs in the lower divisions, Louisville hoisted hardware for the second straight season last year and are in the process of building their own soccer-specific stadium near downtown. They also knocked off the Revs in a U.S. Open Cup fourth-round upset in 2018.

Coached by former Philadelphia Union and US youth national teams coach John Hackworth, in recent days they lost a 2-1 result to USL rivals and future MLS expansion side Nashville SC, and a 1-0 defeat to Orlando City
