The New England Revolution lost 3-1 to Louisville City FC on Wednesday in Bradenton, Fla., as part of Preseason presented by Advocare.

Louisville, the defending USL Championship champions, raced ahead to a 3-0 lead before the Revolution cut into the deficit with a goal by Homegrown signing Justin Rennicks midway through the second half. The Revolution used a younger lineup in the first half before opting to bring on more of the veterans as the game progressed.
