TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Loan
The Montreal Impact announced on Friday they have loaned out midfielder Jeisson Vargas to Chilean club Universidad Catolica for the 2019 season.
Vargas scored four goals in 19 MLS regular season appearances in 2018 for the Impact. The 21-year-old has spent most of his career with Universidad Catolica, coming through the youth ranks there and playing from 2014-16 and in 2017.
Montreal kick off 2019 MLS regular season on March 2 at San Jose Earthquakes.
