The Chicago Fire have acquired an international roster slot from Minnesota United in exchange for $125,000 in General Allocation Money and $75,000 in Targeted Allocation Money, the clubs announced Thursday.

The Fire open their 2019 campaign on March 2 against the LA Galaxy while the Loons kick off this season against the Vancouver Whitecaps on the same day.
