Led by a hat trick from trialist Jiro Toyama, four players scored at least twice as Minnesota United opened their preseason with a 9-2 victory over USL League One outfit FC Tucson Tuesday in Arizona.

He was one of seven players not under contract to feature for Minnesota, including both goalkeepers.
