NYCFC are rumored to be interested in making a seven-figure signing.
According to Fanatik and Sport.ro, NYCFC want to sign Alexandru Mitrita for €6 million. The 23-year-old attacking midfielder is a Romanian international with five caps for the senior side.
Mitrita has a league-leading 13 goals – in addition to four assists – in 18 appearances this season for CS Universitatea Craiova, as the club sits in third place. He has also featured for Pescara in the Italian first and second divisions, where he made 33 appearances with two goals and six assists.
